1. Our Service
OKCEU (Oklahoma Construction Employment United) is a hyper-local employment platform exclusively serving the State of Oklahoma. Users must be at least 18 years of age. Our services are specifically designed for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Skilled Labor trades.
2. User Responsibilities
By creating an account or using our forms, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and professional information.
- Use the site solely for legitimate recruitment purposes.
- Keep your login credentials secure.
3. Talent Pool and Job Posts
Job Seekers (Pros): Provide data-based profiles rather than traditional resumes. When you submit your information, you grant us a license to display it to registered Employers according to your privacy settings.
- Data Accuracy: You agree to provide true and accurate information regarding your license status and experience.
- CIB Verification: You grant OKCEU permission to verify your provided license number against the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board (CIB) public records.
- Communication: By joining the pool, you agree to be contacted by employers via your selected preference (Text, Phone, or Email).
Employers: You are responsible for all content within your job posts and must comply with Oklahoma equal opportunity employment laws. Employers purchase "Job Credits" to post listings on the platform.
- Usage: One (1) credit equals one (1) statewide job posting active for 30 days.
- No Refunds: Due to the digital nature of job credits and the immediate promotion of listings, all sales processed via Stripe are final.
- Vetting: OKCEU reserves the right to remove listings from employers who cannot be verified as legitimate Oklahoma contractors.
4. SMS & Text Notifications
By providing your mobile number, you explicitly consent to receive automated text messages (SMS) regarding application updates and job alerts from OKCEU.
- Opt-Out: Text "STOP" to unsubscribe at any time.
- Help: Text "HELP" for assistance.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
5. Limitation of Liability
OKCEU acts solely as a venue for Oklahoma construction recruitment. We do not perform background checks beyond CIB license verification. We are not responsible for the actions, safety, or performance of any candidate or employer met through this platform.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be handled within the jurisdiction of Oklahoma courts.
7. Account Termination
We reserve the right to remove any user or job posting that violates these terms, including fraudulent listings, spammy behavior, or harassment.
